Generally there are two things that we want more of:
Health and Wealth.
Hans Rosling is a Swedish data scientist that has created an amazing video that shows the change of life expectancy as income rises, over time.
This short video starts with the year 1800 when our lifespan was an average of age 40. As time goes on, we can see that longevity has increased alongside average incomes.
The video is much cooler than I can describe. It is a great reminder that no matter how much we worry about the direction of the world today, we can be reminded that we’ve made great strides. We have increased life expectancy.
Without getting too philosophical about the classic chicken and the egg question, I pose this question:
Do you need wealth to become healthy or health to become wealthy?
